Almost every client in my Empowered You package ha Almost every client in my Empowered You package has had a similar revelation: their concerns run deeper than food.

While dietary choices are important, it’s just one piece of the puzzle.

If you keep going stricter to control symptoms like fatigue, pain, digestive issues or stubborn weight - it’s not working the way you want, or you keep stalling - there’s more puzzle pieces to consider.

Many of my clients whittled down to AIP, Keto, many all the way to Carnivore. They thought it would be the answer to all their troubles. Until it wasn’t.

What finally helped? We looked at the root causes. Why they had the symptoms.

A major root cause for unrelenting symptoms that don’t resolve no matter what you try is stress & unresolved emotions. It’s also a trigger for autoimmune & endometriosis flares.

Every single system in our body is connected - our nervous system connects our thoughts & body in so many ways.

When we have imbalanced stress responses, unresolved trauma, & suppressed emotions, our nervous system becomes dysregulated & inflexible. This affects every single physiological system in the body at both emotional AND physical levels.

If you’ve tried all the diets & you’re still struggling, or you know there’s more results to be had, or you can’t reintroduce foods because you’re too reactive, or you know stress-eating will send you back down a slippery slope, then I urge you to consider the above.

Seek help from a practitioner you feel comfortable with. This type of work is difficult to do on your own. I have my own mentors to guide me even though I’m a practitioner myself.

We need an outside set of eyes to see our blindspots & to co-regulate in order to teach our nervous system to calm down.

If you’re ready to look at this puzzle piece & you resonate with what I say, I’d love to hear from you. We’ll chat & see if you’re a fit for my 1:1 package, Empowered You. We transform what I’ve mentioned above & so much more.

Otherwise, I hope you’ve gained insight. While diet’s important, there’s more to consider.

Do you think results go deeper than diet? 👇
It’s not the job of others to accept you, it’s It’s not the job of others to accept you, it’s your job to accept yourself. When you do, other’s opinions, judgements or reactions won’t matter.

This is big! It might take some time to wrap your head around. And can take some time to really make the shifts that will make self-acceptance a reality.

When you fill yourself with acceptance & love - and let go of judgements, shame, fear, and any other old and outdated beliefs that don’t serve you - then you’ll feel strong & confident in yourself.

When you accept yourself fully - all parts of yourself - then other’s opinions, judgements or reactions won’t phase you. Because you’re strong in your knowledge of yourself.

You’ll know what’s right & wrong for you. What opinions, beliefs, thoughts, and feelings are yours, and which aren’t. You’ll understand what’s beneficial for you & what’s draining or toxic.

Fill yourself up with self-acceptance, and so much in your life will balance & recalibrate.

The first step is awareness. Notice your own thoughts, beliefs & feelings about yourself. You might be surprised when you truly pay attention.

It can be extremely helpful to seek help with this process, especially if self-acceptance is something you find yourself struggling with. It’s hard to see the forest when you’re lost amongst the trees. Find someone you feel you resonate with, this is very important.

If you resonate with me & my approach, I’m happy to chat & see if you’d be a fit for my 6-month 1:1 package, Empowered You. Supporting you to accept yourself is one of several important pieces of the puzzle we work on together that help you feel more calm, comfortable & confident with yourself, your body, and your health.

Send me a DM to @wellbalanceND if you’d like to see if Empowered You is right for you. If it’s not a fit, I’ll try to provide resources that would help you on your journey.

Otherwise, I hope this post has been helpful. Do you agree that self-acceptance is important? 👇
Why are we hard on ourselves? Often it started in Why are we hard on ourselves? Often it started in our developmental years.

Usually it’s developed as a coping mechanism to try to control something we don’t feel in control of.

Each person’s story is unique, and the reasoning behind why they’ve developed certain ways of being are also unique.

When you’re able to connect the dots and understand your own story, and how that ties in to why you think, act, and respond the way you do now, you start to gain valuable awareness that will help you start to create a way that feels more balanced for yourself.

When I work with clients, we don’t dig around too much in the past, but having a general understanding of your timeline can be very helpful to understand your present.

You’ll start to see how & why you developed certain tendencies, coping mechanisms & stress responses. You’ll start to see what aspects of yourself would benefit from some nurturing & healing, and you’ll start to see that the way it was doesn’t have to be the way it has to be moving forward.

You can create a new timeline for yourself. A new way of being & responding - to yourself, to others, and to challenges in life.

You can learn how not to be hard on yourself. How to let go of perfectionism. How to stop worrying about what other people are thinking. How to accept you just the way you are. And so much more.

If you’re ready to connect your dots and create a new and better way, send me a DM to @wellbalanceND, we’ll chat to see if you’re a fit for my 6-month 1:1 package, Empowered You.

I’m also in the process of creating some workshops that will touch upon some of my main tools I teach my clients to start to transform the stress response & develop a stronger sense of self acceptance. DM me if you’d like to get on the waitlist.

Otherwise, did this video give you any new insight? 👇
Stress is a common & major trigger for both develo Stress is a common & major trigger for both development & worsening of symptoms like fatigue, pain, digestive issues, and brain fog seen in chronic conditions like autoimmune & endometriosis.

It’s also a big reason why many people deal with stubborn & unwanted weight - particularly if they’ve been trying every diet perfectly & not getting anywhere.

Stress negatively impacts every physiological system - from metabolism, hormones, immune function, to neurotransmitters, digestion, causes inflammation and so many other imbalances that trigger & worsen symptoms, and impede weight loss efforts.

This is an important message to those who’ve been trying #allthediets diligently, all the way to AIP, Keto & Carnivore, and they know something’s missing.

Many women in my coaching practice have gone all the way to Carnivore, and once they address this piece of the puzzle - namely transforming the stress response, training the nervous system to become more flexible, heal unresolved emotions & traumas, and learn new & more productive ways to process feelings & manage mindset, that’s when true change happens.

I’ve had women who’ve gone through my 6 month program tearily tell me they’ve struggled for years looking for answers, and in 6 months of doing this work they’ve finally found the freedom in their body & lives they’d been begging & searching for - often for years, sometimes for their whole lives. Their only regret is not finding this sooner.

If you’re just looking at diet, medications & supplements & you’ve still not gotten all the results you want, I urge you to look deeper. Your answers are out there. For many of you, stress & emotions might just be the piece of the puzzle that, when transformed, will finally get you where you want to go.

Send me a DM to @wellbalanceND if you know this is your missing puzzle piece & you’re ready to transform it 💛
While diet is important, if you’ve tried all the While diet is important, if you’ve tried all the diets, including AIP, Keto or Carnivore & you’re still struggling with things like fatigue, pain, bloating, and unwanted weight, there’s other puzzle pieces to consider.

In this quick clip, I talk about another puzzle piece that’s just as important, if not more so, and it’s something we often ignore.

Tell me: do you think this is a piece of your puzzle? 👇
Our experiences during our developmental years sha Our experiences during our developmental years shape so much about how we see, understand, think about, and respond to life.

Our stress responses - how we respond to challenges - were also shaped during this time. Before we had logical reasoning to understand the implications.

It’s all based on survival. To get through difficult situations as unscathed as possible.

However, as adults, some of these stress responses may no longer serve us…and may actually keep us stuck in patterns of thinking & responding that actually make us feel worse - both physically & emotionally.

For example, tendencies like people pleasing, putting other’s needs before ourselves, perfectionism, stuffing our emotions, worrying about the opinions of others over listening to our own gut feelings - are all examples of tendencies we adopted early on to navigate challenges the best way we could.

But it's those tendencies that often cause us to put undue stress on ourselves, and create dynamics with others that further exacerbate that stress.

This is why true stress transformation goes beyond taking bubble baths. While relaxing, you’re not addressing the root of why you’re locked in cycles of stress.

The first step is awareness. Understand the associations & recognize what’s truly going on under the surface. Pay attention in the moment to see the truth. You might surprise yourself.

Are you seeing the connections & want help to transform it so you can finally feel free? Send me a DM to @wellbalanceND, I’m happy to see if you’d be a fit for my 6-month 1:1 package, Empowered You.

Otherwise, I hope this has given you a puzzle piece of awareness.

Tell me: was this surprising to you? 👇
