How I mastered my sensitivity and gave myself Permission to Shine

I pivoted away from a relentlessly exhausting back-to-back patient schedule as a Naturopathic Doctor, then launched my own coaching business helping clients to heal autoimmune disorders through nutrition, only to completely transform the way I work with clients to focus on the deeply spiritual, intuitive, and transformative work that I discovered I’m most passionate about.

I’ve journeyed through many different iterations and pivots, and I finally created my dream business doing the work that lights up my soul every day.

It took recognizing that I was stuffing myself into a box of how I thought I ‘should’ be operating my business. And seeing the truth about what I really enjoy doing and with whom. Then, giving myself full permission to follow the path my soul was calling me to go, even if it didn’t make sense to anyone else.

And it took accepting my sensitive nature as my superpower, so that I could harness the fullest potential of the gifts that come with being a Highly Sensitive Person. Instead of hiding and masking who I am and my gifts because they didn't seem to fit with what society deems 'normal'.

By coming out of the intuitive and spiritual closet myself, and unapologetically saying ‘no’ to what no longer sparked my own joy, I’ve been able to build my own version of a dream business, doing the most deeply soul-nourishing work, while living a life filled with the things that energize me and make me genuinely happy day to day.

I took the leap. I changed the kinds of clients I was working with, multiple times over. I gave myself permission to build offers that truly excite me, and to do business in ways that honors my sensitivity and prioritizes my health above all, while also giving me spaciousness for long walks in the forest and early evenings relaxing with my honey.

Where I used to be exhausted and feeling unfulfilled with my work, now, I’m exhilarated, filled with passion and purpose, and deeply excited for tomorrow. While providing greater transformative impact for my clients than ever before.
