You’ve spent so much energy seeking approval, by working harder, saying yes when you wanted to say no, shrinking yourself to fit others’ expectations. You overdeliver and try to anticipate everyone else’s needs before your own.

And for what? A fleeting nod of acknowledgment or a few words of praise that never feel like enough?

The thing is, external approval will never fill the space inside you that’s longing for something deeper. It’s like pouring water into a bottomless cup. No matter how much you get, it never satisfies.

The validation you’re chasing isn’t about others. It’s about a part of you that’s been taught to seek worth outside yourself.

But external approval will never fill the gap only self-acceptance can.

When you accept yourself, your quirks, your strengths, your messiness as the beautiful human you are, you no longer need anyone else’s permission to feel whole.

You’ll find the peace and fulfillment you’ve been searching for, not in their opinions, but in your own unwavering acceptance.

The approval of others is temporary. But the acceptance you give yourself is lasting. And it’s the key to the fulfillment you’ve been seeking.
